Wajiha Mekki

Wajiha Mekki is a passionate health and policy advocate. As a Cancer Biology, Political Science, and Epidemiology (MPH) student, she takes an interdisciplinary approach to health policy, intertwining policy outcomes with national security and tech innovation. Her commitment to public service influences her involvement with the UAB Institute for Human Rights, IN Network National Security Academy, and the Clinton Global Initiative and as an Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholar and Harvard PPLC 2023 Scholar.
