OUR PROGRAM

Practical Policy Experience

Fellows contribute 8–10 hours of remote work per week for three months to develop technology governance solutions in direct collaboration with state and local agencies. They conduct applied research in direct collaboration with the government officials responsible for implementing their ideas. Project areas include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital accessibility, aerospace, broadband and more.

Community & Mentorship

Fellows join our Paragon community and Alumni network that includes future leaders in technology policy and digital governance. Alumni and Fellows also have access to networking and mentorship resources, where they gain guidance from professionals in the public interest technology and policy communities.

Training & Resources

Fellows learn how to write and think about current policy challenges through our cohort bootcamps and policy workshops. They also hear from select guest speakers across government, academia, non-profit, and the private sector.
