Ronnie Cheng

Ronnie Cheng (he/him) currently serves as the Grant Coordinator for the Paragon Policy Fellowship. He is a junior at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, where he studies Political Science as an undergraduate. As a Spring 2025 Fellow, Ronnie supported the City of Albuquerque’s interdepartmental working group in developing best practices for municipal AI governance. In his current role, he surfaces grant opportunities and shapes funding proposals.

Outside of Paragon, Ronnie enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and creative writing. His professional interests include environmental policy, law, and data science.
