Parnika Sharma
Project Management Coordinator
Parnika Sharma (she/her) serves as Project Management Coordinator with the Paragon Policy Fellowship. She is a recent graduate of Duke University with an MA in Tech Ethics & Policy. Before graduate school, Parnika worked as a software engineer for 5 years, and received her B.S. in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College in 2019. She is passionate about using her technical knowledge to ground tech law and policy in a solid understanding of the risks and capabilities of novel technologies, with a particular focus on data rights, privacy, and cybersecurity.
Parnika served as a fellow in the Fall 2025. She worked with the North Carolina Office of Science, Technology, and Innovation to conduct a literature review and make recommendations regarding critical mineral mining and recycling in North Carolina.
Outside of work, Parnika loves singing, indie games, and reading fiction and nonfiction.
