Maya Lukalapu
Outreach Coordinator
Maya Lukalapu (she/her) currently serves as an Outreach Coordinator for the Paragon Policy Fellowship, where she supports fellow and alumni engagement, strengthens partnerships, and helps expand programming at the intersection of technology and public policy.
She is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned her B.S. in Information Sciences with a focus on policy and ethics. Maya also serves as a Cybersecurity Research Fellow, analyzing global privacy frameworks, AI governance, and emerging technology policy. Beyond her research, she is deeply civically engaged — having managed and supported local political campaigns, built coalitions across community stakeholders, and collaborated with technology companies and policy leaders to advance initiatives focused on innovation, governance, and public trust.
Alongside her policy work, Maya currently works at a Seattle-based law firm, where she supports legal operations and develops a deeper understanding of how law functions in practice. She is especially interested in the intersection of law, technology, and civil liberties.
In her free time, Maya loves reading, journaling, photography, and baking.
