Katie Ortega

Katie Ortega (she/her) currently serves as a Partnerships Coordinator for Paragon Policy. She is a second-year student studying philosophy with a strong interest in philosophy's intersection with public policy and technology.

Katie served as a fellow for Paragon during Fall 2025 where she helped develop a literature review for the Arizona Space Commission and presented evaluations for U.S. space hubs. In her role as a Partnerships Coordinator she works on relationships with Paragon's government partners and ensures shared objectives between cohorts and their partners.

At her college Katie oversees an Honors Society in the role of president and is the founder of an academic discourse club. She is passionate about academic equity and through these roles she works to expand access to professional development and research opportunities.
