Jared Salcedo
Policy Coordinator
Jared Salcedo (he/him) serves as a Policy Coordinator with the Paragon Policy Fellowship, where he helps advance projects that connect policy innovation, governance, and community impact. He supports research-driven initiatives that strengthen public systems and foster equitable development, blending strategic insight with a deep commitment to collaboration and human-centered problem solving.
A Presidential Honors Scholar and graduate of New York University, Jared earned his B.A. in Sociology with Honors and a minor in Computer Science before completing a Master’s in Human Rights Studies at Columbia University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Professional Studies in Project Management at Georgetown University, where he serves as an Editor for the Georgetown Public Policy Review and previously held elected roles in graduate student government. As a Summer 2025 Paragon Fellow, Jared supported the U.S. Virgin Islands in developing STEM education and digital equity frameworks, helping align local innovation with long-term policy goals.
Beyond Paragon, Jared brings nearly a decade of experience as a Strategic Consultant, guiding organizations through digital transformation and inclusive strategy design. He thrives in spaces where collaboration fuels progress and empathy informs leadership. Outside of work, he draws inspiration from modern and abstract art, enjoys reading social philosophy, follows mixed martial arts for its balance of focus and discipline, and occasionally dances bachata—a reminder that connection, rhythm, and adaptability often move in harmony.
