Emmy Chavez
Project Management Coordinator
Emmy Chavez (she/her) serves as a Project Management Coordinator with the Paragon Policy Fellowship. She is a data science student with a background in computer science and a strong interest in the intersection of technology, ethics, and public impact.
Emmy has worked extensively in youth education and advocacy, including designing and teaching AI and ethics curricula, speaking on panels about youth voices in technology, and supporting students through programs at the Boys & Girls Club. She has also helped secure and implement grant-funded initiatives focused on ethical AI, mental health awareness, and digital literacy.
At Paragon, Emmy supports program coordination and operations while contributing her experience in research, education, and community-centered technology policy. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring holistic approaches to well-being, thinking about complex systems, and learning new ways technology can be used for social good.
