Desiree Junfijiah

Desiree B. Junfijiah (she/her) is the Incoming Director of Partnerships at the Paragon Policy Fellowship and a United Nations Next Generation Fellow, where she explores the future of global cooperation beyond this decade. She is an independent AI ethics researcher focused on extending AI catastrophic risk to include at-risk populations. She is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Bell Project, an independent digital media initiative centering on emerging technology and digital equity.

Desiree previously served as a Black Wings Leader at Rewriting the Code and as a Teen Advisor for Girl Up at the United Nations Foundation, where she now serves as a Teen Advisor Alumna and Mentor.
